Pete and Rosana's Big Trip out West
July 2016

7/9. The ACA group met at Cricket's (past winner of the Great Divide race) Bike Retreat outside Whitefish. We are then shuttled by bus up to Banff, where we start the trip behind the Banff hotel.

7/7. This is a Big Trip out west. The idea is I drive to WhiteFish pick up a 10-day trip Great Divide mountain-biking trip. Then I continue west to spend a couple days in the San Juan Islands and visit Kathleen / Darryl in Seattle (Burien). Finally, I head south to pick up Rosana in Las Vegas, hitting Bryce on the way. Afterwards, Rosana and I do Zion and then proceed to our Rice Reunion in Durango.

First big place I hit was Glacier.

7/20. After the trip I headed west to the San Juans.

7/25. I met Aunt Kathleen in Seattle. We visited Darryl in the home he was living in nearby (no pics), and then made a trip out to Rainier for the day.

7/27. South to pick up Rosana for the reunion, staying at Bryce on the way.

7/29. Driving out of Vegas with Rosana it was hideously hot. Seriously.

7/30. Zion!
